Owner & Certified Professional Pet Sitter

Wendy started pet sitting in 2002 for Amanda, a friend who owned Gate City Pet Sitters. When Amanda decided to close the business in 2010 due to family obligations, a couple of clients continued to call Wendy for their pet sitting needs. They are still Wendy’s clients to this day!

In the summer of 2018, the decision was made to expand services and open Wendy Collins Pet Sitting LLC.

Since that time, Wendy has become a member of Pet Sitter’s International, furthered her education to become a Certified Professional Pet Sitter, and trained in Pet First-Aid & CPCR.

Taking care of and forming a bond with our clients and their fur babies is our purpose.

All pets are different with their own special personalities, likes, dislikes, and reactions. It is a welcome challenge to see how much fun we can have or just sit quietly with head scratches, belly rubs, and lots of love.

Hello, my name is Desiree.  I grew up in Wilmington.  During the pandemic, my family and I moved to the piedmont to be near family. 

My previous job was a bather with a mobile vet, which was 12 hour days.  After having my son, I wanted to continue to work with pets and be able to be with my son as much as possible.  Working with Wendy Collins Pet Sitting is the best of both worlds.  I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know and love your babies.

Hello, my name is Oliva.  I grew up in Summerfield with a Border Collie named Sienna and a Chiweenie named Molly.  Sienna lived to be 16.  Molly is still with us at 9 years old.  She is our princess!! 

I have a lot of experience taking care of pets as I have worked for a local daycare and boarding facility in NW Guilford for the past 2 years in their doggie daycare.  I also give baths, nail trims, feed and clean kennels.

I am looking forward to meeting and becoming friends with all of your babies.

Hello, my name is Brandon.  I grew up in Summerfield and have settled into my own home here.  My baby is a Blue Heller named Jazz who is my heart. 

I have heard lots of wonderful stories about your babies through the years, as Wendy is my mother.  I am so excited to be able to get to know and love your babies as much as my mom does.
