What We Offer:

Starting pay is $13.50 hour.
Mileage reimbursement. (.20 per mile from first client to last client of the shift).
100% of tips, when provided by clients.
Flexible schedule (5-15 hours a week depending on your availability and client need).
Income range is $200-$1000 a month depending on your availability and client need.

Schedules

Mini shifts – Monday to Sunday

Early Morning (6am – 8:30am)
Late Morning (8:30am – 10:00am)
Midday (10:30am – 3pm)
Dinner (3:30pm – 7pm)
Bedtime (7:30pm – 10pm)

Reasons you may not want to work for us:

If you need a guaranteed number of hours or pay each week. There are no guaranteed hours, and your schedule will change from week to week, often with little notice from clients.
We go to the client’s home, so you will be expected to drive your own personal vehicle to all client homes on your schedule.
We work in all types of weather (rain, snow, ice, heat, and cold) Dogs need to potty no matter what the weather.
Cannot tolerate picking up poop, or cleaning up occasional messes (vomit, diarrhea, etc.) We do it all!
If you are looking for seasonal work as this is a year-round position.

Candidate Requirements

Animal lover! We provide compassionate and loving care for dogs and cats of all ages and needs.
Recent experience with dogs and cats, whether volunteer, professional, or with personal pets. Comfortable with dogs of all sizes.
Be a professional-minded adult, aged 21 or older. Extremely reliable and punctual (pets and their parents are depending on you!), trustworthy, compassionate with a strong work ethic and genuine love and concern for the well-being of the pets in our care and peace of mind for the pet parents.
Excellent time management skills, detail-oriented with a natural drive to provide first-class care.
Great memory as you may not see vacation pet sitting clients but once a year.
Own a newer smart phone with unlimited data, email access, storage available for our apps, and a working camera. You are comfortable using multiple apps.
Respond to email/voicemail/text messages daily and/or communication in a timely manner through our apps to clients and management.
Must have a valid NC driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and current car insurance.
Have Holiday availability for at least one shift on most major holidays. (New Years, Easter/Spring Break, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)
Live within 10 miles of 5007 Myers Fork Rd, Summerfield, NC the entire year.
Physical ability to walk dogs, bend, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch to pick up poop and clean litterboxes, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to pass a national and federal criminal background check.
Able to commit to this position for at least 6 months from the date of hire.
You should have another source of income as this job does not guarantee any hours and is meant to be supplemental income.
